Infertility PMA

Infertility: when it’s time to take action

Infertility is defined as the absence of pregnancy after 6-12 months of regular, unprotected sexual intercourse. However, it is not always necessary to wait this long. If you have any known issues — such as endometriosis, ovarian failure, recurrent miscarriages, fibroids, varicocele, cryptorchidism, cancer, genetic or endocrine disorders, abdominal surgery or obesity — it is essential to seek immediate help from a specialised and authorised facility.
If you are trying to conceive and recognise yourself in any of these conditions, don’t delay: contact us with confidence. We are also here for those who simply want to assess or preserve their fertility.

Your fertility deserves attention today, not tomorrow.

How an embryo is formed
and why sometimes it doesn’t happen

Life begins when a sperm and an egg meet in the fallopian tubes, combining their genetic material. Thanks to its motility, the sperm travels through the female genital tract, overcoming a natural selection process that favours only the most viable. The egg cell, which cannot move independently, is captured by the cilia of the tubes at the moment of ovulation.

Once fertilised, the embryo travels towards the uterus, pushed by the tubal cilia. Here, during the “implantation window” (between the 19th and 23rd day of the cycle), the endometrium prepares to receive it. This process requires perfect synchronisation between the embryo and the endometrium, mediated by hormones, cytokines, immune cells and a balanced microbiota.

When something goes wrong: the causes of infertility

Difficulties in conceiving can arise from various factors:

Genetic: chromosomal abnormalities in the gametes or embryo.
Gametogenic: alterations in the quantity or quality of sperm and oocytes.
Tubal: obstructions or dysfunctions of the fallopian tubes that prevent the gametes from meeting.
Uterine: malformazioni, infiammazioni, fibromi o alterazioni dell’endometrio che ostacolano l’impianto.

If you are trying to conceive and have concerns about your fertility, please contact us: we are here to help you understand and overcome these difficulties.

Therapeutic Procedures

Trusting Omnia Salute Roma means embarking on a medically assisted reproduction (MAR) journey with the guarantee of being cared for by experienced professionals who are constantly updating their knowledge.
At our facilities, we offer advanced, safe and effective techniques, always aimed at maximising results and protecting the health of the unborn child.

Homologous techniques

These techniques use only the couple's gametes and can be:

- In vivo: fertilisation takes place inside the female body (e.g. intrauterine insemination)
- In vitro: fertilisation takes place in the laboratory and the embryo is then transferred to the uterus

Among the most commonly used techniques are: intrauterine insemination (IUI), IVF, ICSI, natural ICSI, MACS ICSI, Zymot ICSI, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGT-A / PGT-M)

Heterologous techniques

Similar to homologous techniques, but using gametes (oocytes or spermatozoa) from donors outside the couple. The Omnia Salute Group was the first centre in Italy to apply the heterologous technique after the ban provided for by Law 40 was lifted.

My baby impulse

Irollo Method: Protocol of Excellence for Fertility

My Baby Impulse Irollo
My Baby Impulse Irollo represents an innovative frontier in the treatment of infertility in couples, a diagnostic-therapeutic protocol of excellence devised by Dr Alfonso Maria Irollo that integrates the world’s most advanced technologies in the field of reproductive and regenerative medicine. This revolutionary approach is the result of over three decades of clinical experience and more than 50,000 successful procedures, consolidating its value in contemporary clinical practice.

The uniqueness of the Irollo Method lies in its intensive and highly technological structure, developed in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of embryologists, geneticists and specialists in Regenerative Medicine. It can be used not only to improve the condition of the body and prevent pathological processes, but also to improve fertility rates.

The result is a comprehensive and personalised therapeutic programme designed to address even the most complex cases of infertility with a targeted and scientific approach.

Who can benefit from the My Baby Impulse Irollo protocol

Repeated implantation failures
For couples who have already undergone unsuccessful cycles of assisted fertilisation, the protocol offers advanced strategies to optimise the chances of embryo implantation and pregnancy.

Recurrent miscarriages
The method includes sophisticated diagnostic techniques to identify the possible causes of repeated pregnancy loss, developing targeted therapeutic strategies.

Impaired gamete quality
Through innovative technologies for gamete selection and treatment and ovarian and testicular regeneration, the protocol seeks to improve egg and sperm quality, offering alternatives to heterologous techniques.

The My Baby Impulse Method is also aimed at couples who wish to avoid gradual approaches and prefer an intensive and direct approach, as well as people of advanced reproductive age who need timely and effective solutions. The primary objective is to offer concrete possibilities for realising the dream of parenthood even in situations traditionally considered unfavourable. Cutting-edge techniques to accurately identify the causes of infertility.
REGENERATIVE APPROACH
Complete screening and regenerative procedures for gametes allow for the optimisation of embryonic and uterine quality.
INTENSIVE PROGRAMME
Rapid and targeted solutions without gradual steps.

The My Baby Impulse Irollo protocol is therefore a concrete response to the challenges of modern reproductive medicine, combining clinical experience with the latest technological innovations to maximise the chances of success even in the most complex situations.
The personalisation of the programme, based on the specific needs of each couple, is the added value of this revolutionary approach.

Fertility Preservation

Preserve Your Tomorrow Today: Solutions for Future Fertility
Fertility is not eternal, but today you can choose to preserve it. In a world where priorities change and life stages shift, more and more men and women are deciding to preserve their fertility. Whether for personal, professional or medical reasons, fertility preservation is a real opportunity for those who want to maintain the possibility of becoming parents at the right time.

Fertility is closely linked to time. Ovarian ageing, disease, medical procedures or cancer treatments can irreversibly compromise reproductive capacity. Taking action now means securing a precious resource for the future, avoiding regrets and ensuring you have options when you are ready to start a family.

Ovarian reserve naturally decreases with age. Egg freezing offers a real opportunity to preserve young, healthy eggs for future use, keeping your reproductive options open.

Sperm quality can also deteriorate over time or be compromised by disease or treatment. Cryopreservation of semen is a simple procedure that guarantees the possibility of becoming a father in the future.

Many cancer treatments can compromise fertility. Preserving gametes or gonadal tissue before starting treatment means protecting your right to become a parent after recovery.

At Omnia Salute, we offer cutting-edge technologies for fertility preservation in a welcoming and professional environment. Our protocols are tailored to meet the specific needs of each patient.

A minimally invasive procedure that allows eggs to be frozen while maintaining their quality for future use.

A simple and quick method for storing sperm for many years.

Innovative treatments to improve gamete quality prior to preservation.

Your journey with Omnia Salute
